Last January 28, 2012, the UP Volunteers for Children had a party in celebration of their anniversary which is on January 30. It was held at the covered court in Barangay UP Campus along C. P. Garcia.
The program consisted mainly of games: Bring Me, Trip to Jerusalem, Longest Happy Birthday, Stop Dance and Hep Hep Hooray!

There was also a dance showdown featuring the three best dancers among the group.

During the program, the children were given popcorn sponsored by the Chummy Chum Foundation.

They were also given cotton candy!

Chummy Chum, the mascot of the Chummy Chum Foundation, came and the children were all excited to see him.

He joined those who were dancing on the stage.

Before leaving, Chummy Chum posed in front of the camera with the children and volunteers.

The next activity was story telling. The book read to the children was “May Higante sa Aming Bahay” by Rhandee Garlitos.

At last, it was time to eat!

After eating, everyone sang the “Happy Birthday” song!

Coincidentally, one of the volunteers was celebrating her birthday on the same day so she was called on the stage to blow the candles on the cake.

Due to the request of the audience, the birthday girl presented a song number.

After giving away the loot bags from the Chummy Chum Foundation, the volunteers said goodbye to the children.
